Beautiful location. Easy access to highway. Washrooms are clean. $25 cash only. Yes, there are a lot of trains, but it's background noise. There's also noise from local industry. My shower was almost too hot--maybe better than too cold. There is no seat, shelf, or hooks for towel, clothes, etc. Also our picnic table and fire circle were away from our tent and right close to another group enjoying a fire, so we ended up not having an awkwardly close fire to them.
If you don't need hookups this place is great, right in the middle of town and is so well shaded you don't need to your AC.
Great municipal c/g in Hinton, AB. Train tracks on hill above c/g. A bit unnerving at first. Great park host. No services but great spot. Stayed 3 nights.
Nice camp ground, right in town and feels like your out in the Bush.
Clean spacious sites, nice playground, modern and clean washrooms - trains are noisy but tolerable
