Very disappointing...Filthy is a kind word to use for this room. When we saw how dirty the pull out couch cushions were.... not to mention what was probably a snot wiping on the arm. Whatever the white stuff was it could be debated but it could have also been cleaned with a 60.00 bissell. When I showed the picture to the front staff and said my kids aren't sleeping on that....I was told I would be charged 10.00 per cot. I said that's ridiculous to think my kids should have to sleep on that white mess. There were no cups for my kids to drink from even though there was a coffee maker.... which was relatively minor compared to the fridge having food left in it. Whatever the front desk lady pulled out from below the ice tray was... it made her gag. After pulling whatever it was out she said there you go. It was not cleaned and the yellow slime was left there for us. My food was left to throw away as no one in a reasonable state of mind would put food in there. They did put us in a different room for the second night but wanted to charge me a higher rate for it upon check out...they offered me a different room and like I was gonna stay in that room a second night.They finally charged me the same as the first rooms night but wouldn't give a discount for it being filthy... reason was because we stayed the night. I guess they expected my wife and kids to load up our bags and to sleep in the car.... not to mention they would have probably charged me a short notice cancellation fee anyway. NOT worth 300 a night... hot tub broken.... Luke warm water for showers... dirty bathroom walls and elevator broken on second night. Way more money than other local places but they take advantage of the fact there is limited accommodation in Jasper and all the over flow will eventually make it there.
Should be no star rating! Horrible experiences! Found spider and beetle in the room. Tried to change room but could not. Was planning to stay 4 nights, but left next morning. Manager gave $ 50. credit from the bill because of spider and beetle.Breakfast area was dirty and congested, also overflows to the reception area. They charge lot of money but is not worth the quality and service! Even 1 star is not too much.
It's a very nice building, I was in a conference room for the day and they supplies decent teas and water. Great vending machine with sandwich fridges in the lobby, and a very nice set of lobby furniture. Love the historical period pictures too, neat stuff!
First impression was just terrible! The room was supposed to be ready at 4:00 pm! When we got there though, the reception desk lady simply said the room wasn't ready because they were short on staff and we would have to wait for at least half an hour! So disappointing!!!And after getting in the room eventually, we were wakened up by someone knocking on the door heavily and even did not wait for me to open the door for him. I was shocked seeing that he opened the door and got in saying that he was the maintenance guy and wanted to check on something!! Terrible!!!I left the reception know about my complaint regarding the intrusive but, and akhe didn't even bother to sway she was sorry! Very rude staff!I'll never ever come back to this place again!!
Comfy, Nice, Clean and spacious. Breakfast in the morning was great and staff was pretty nice. Housekeeping knocked on our door pretty early though. Before 9. But I understand they're trying to get stuff done.
