I was very skeptical to stay here initially after reading the reviews in google. But had to book the room because, the other places were booked out. But I was wrong, the stay and comfort was like any other motel. The room and toilet was very clean . The staff was courteous. They even cleaned and tidied our room every day. I have been to highly rated hotels before and tiravista is excellent for their price point. They even had coffee maker and microwave in their rooms.
Stayed there last night....very nice check-in, pleasant and helpful. The room seemed freshly painted and had everything we needed. Close to a family steak place and a burger place (we ate there and it was very good food). Great stop on our way to Alaska.
If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would. My boyfriend just got back from 13 nights in this hotel and for the first 6 nights they didn't have any hot water. When asked each night they said they would look into it. They never got a discount let alone a refund for those nights. Hard to get clean after a days work with ice cold water. They were switched rooms (to a smoking room when they dont smoke) after and they had no shower curtain and 0 toiletries. The rooms are also not cleaned as a condom wrapper was behind their counter.
For a 2-star hotel, I will give it 5 stars for exceeding expectations. It's no three star hotel, but for what it is, it is a nice place. Showers we nice and strong and beds were clean and more comfortable then I expected for a 2-star hotel. If you are on a budget and need a place to stay for the night, then this place will be good enough.
Clean rooms, complimentary coffee, absorbent yours, comfortable beds. About all you can ask for from a lower star hotel. Not disappointed and will probably be back!
